When this home was built the logs were extended down past the grade and backfill. The scope of the project was to raise the home and replace the foundation.
Four courses of logs were removed and slide tubes were installed to stabilize and raise the home. A new foundation was poured along with footings and a stem wall. We created a mudsill so the backfill could be done properly. Lag bolts were used to connect the logs to the new foundation.
